Kitchen and limestone floor in Devauden
Devauden, Monmouthshire
The old kitchen stripped out of a house in Devauden, the quarry tiles taken up and the floor screeded and levelled, then laid through in limestone with the AGA kept where it was.
The quarry tiles came up first, which is the slow part, then the floor was cleared back, screeded and self levelled ready for tiling.
Ditra matting went down over the levelled floor and the limestone was laid through the kitchen, the cloakroom and the hall, so the whole of the ground floor reads as one room.
